HOT Introduction at High Point Market: Thibaut Fine Furniture
You love their wallpaper and fabrics. Now I predict that their furniture will become a staple.
Thibaut’s new furniture line was a hit among bloggers at the April 2012 High Point Market. I loved it, and so did Laurie Gorelick of Build Your Nest blog, who was with me. When I got home, several of my tweeps, called it their Market favorite.
It is easy to see why. Every piece “sits” so well–with Spring Down Seat Cushions (considered the finest in the industry) standard on most items. All of the construction is top of the line, actually. Of course there is eight-way tied springs and the top quality hardwood frames are from sustainable forests in the good old USA (always love that!)
The line has wonderful proportions. Walking through Thibaut’s attractive space in the Historic Market Square section of High Point, I had a Goldilocks moment. Each piece was not to big, not to small, but just right.
This chair looks like a re-upholstered treasured antique. Love the scallop shape and tufting on the back–such character.
And dressed in lovely Thibaut fabrics (which are 20% off if chosen, but you can do C.O.M. too), you can’t go wrong.
Today, I thought I would share a few snaps from the showroom.
This sweet settee was the perfect scale. (And you can catch a glimpse of the spread in the showroom. They feed us well at High Point.)
I fell for the contrast piping on this chair.
Nice profile on their cozy wing chair.
There are 14 wood stain and 14 premium paint finishes, plus you can choose any color in the Benjamin Moore palette. This chair is painted a pretty coral from Ben Moore.
And while it is not a shot of their new furniture, I had to include this snap of a pretty shade in Thibaut’s Gatehouse fabric in the showroom.
Laurie and I resting our feet for a moment–I could have hung out at Thibaut all afternoon between the comfy furniture, snacks and the Bellinis!
Head over here to see the full line.
Except for the one photo I am in, all photos by me. Sorry for the slight blurriness. Must have been the Bellini.
