This week flew by. But I still have some fun finds for your weekend exploration, kicking off with that fab interior shown above. It is Margherita Missoni’s apartment, and I am really digging the bright colors. Also love that she at least snagged some of the Missoni for Target collection (first and last pillow on sofa).
Visit dustjacket attic for more.

I always adore when I find a new artist, though I suspect I may be one of the last to know on this one. Camille Styles will fill you in on the lovely work of Elephant Ceramics.

There is going to be a new Target home collection and it is by the designers who styled the pretty grouping of books above. The City Sage is well informed. Click here to read more. Let’s hope this collection doesn’t sell out within nano seconds.

Out of closet space? Love, love the chic and clever clothes storage ideas featured at Splendid Willow.

Finally, syllabub anyone? I didn’t know what it was either. Still, this chocolate espresso one does look tempting. Recipe here.

Part of the reason the week was over in a flash is because I saw SO MUCH new design and I got to spend time with my cyber friends IRL (“in real life” in twitter speak). Sunday kicked off the week with a visit to the NYC Pier Antiques Show. Read about that here and here.
I quickly followed that up with a wonderful visit to Michele Varian’s store in SoHo. Get the tour here, and see her new wallpapers here.
Then on Thursday, I bustled through this year’s fabulous Architectural Digest Show and the DIFFA by Design tabletop extravaganza. It was here that I met up with many of my blogging and design friends.
Talk about the power of twitter. I knew no one at last year’s AD show, but this go round was a social whirl! I made almost all of my 699 new twitter friends since December 2011 when I started tweeting regularly. Follow me @DecorArtsNow. (I only need one of you to reach 700, pretty please.)
I even got to meet Hannah from the UK Dreamwalls blog that I linked to last weekend! She is in New York at the moment for the Modenus sponsored BlogTourNYC.
If you are not following the adventures of the BlogTourNYC participants, you should be. It is a trending topic on twitter at the moment! Find it by plugging in #BlogTourNYC in your twitter search box.
Here is the blogging gang enjoying “Mary’s and Mimosas” courtesy of Modenus (and so nice to meet Veronika IRL for the first time!) at the AD Show.

Do come back next week for my take on the AD show and some choice photos of DIFFA.
Now it is time for me to relax. Hope you find some sweet peace this weekend too.

Where are these links coming from? I gather my inspiration on my tumblr, found at www.decorartsnow.tumblr.com. While there is always something to read at Decor Arts Now, my tumblr is a visual feast.
It is on my tumblr where I post pictures of the “art” I find in the everyday, in fields as diverse as food, fashion, travel, lifestyle, and, of course, interior design. There are very few words apart from pertinent links for more information.
Not in the mood to pore over a lengthy article? Well now you know where to go to just look!
