Want that Oscar de La Renta necklace? Well hurry up. I first spotted it on a new pinner’s fashion fantasy board. Stella + Henry looks to be just starting out on Pinterest, but her initial pins appear super promising. Follow her boards.
And that necklace? It is now less than half price over at Neiman’s. Click over to the fashion fantasy board, and keep clicking, to land at the right place.
Love me a new home decor source. I think the pillow above is a great Spring update for your home. Check out the other lovely wares at Rowen & Wren. TY to DreamwallStyle blog for introducing me to them. Dreamwall will be reporting on the latest design finds from Modenus’ 2012 BlogTourNYC next week. Follow her adventures.
The following pic is hardly from an unknown blog (Peak of Chic), but the image of a vintage Tiffany plate, so reminds me of the work of Mary Delany. Don’t you agree? To read more about Delany click here.
This next gorgeous bouquet (Spring on the brain this week) also is made from paper, but this time I am cheating a bit.
I didn’t discover the artist Livia Cetti online. The good word on Livia came from a brand new favorite glossy, New York Cottages & Gardens. I had a great time at their launch party last Thursday. Try to get your hands on an issue–they are free. More info is found here. Until then, explore Livia’s stunning website.
Finally, this week’s idea for a new collection came from blogger friend, Dezignlicious: mid-century glass. It comes in sexy shapes and many vibrant colors. I have a thing for purple. Go here to read more.
Other notables this week: I did my first 2 “tweet chats” ever and now I think I am addicted!!
The first one was to get sneak peeks of what is coming up at the Spring High Point Market in April. I am heading down to Market again courtesy of the lovely Hooker Furniture Company. As a newbie, I found this one so fast and furious I didn’t see much product, but I promise to bring you great posts from my trip.
The second “tweet chat” was for #DesignTV hosted by Amy from abcddesigns. Some of us were tweeting right across the table from each other at the NYC&G launch party, in the beautiful Lillian August showroom. So fun and funny. It was like sending an email to Larry when I am in my third floor office and he is in the basement.
My back is towards the camera in the next photo (I am wearing the white blouse and tweed dress). Thanks Elizabeth from Shorely Chic for the photo.
And here is me with Amy. Delighted to meet her in real life. Do check out her blog—I especially love her posts on her country house. Thanks to Jennifer from Dec-a-porter for the photo. Jen has been going gangbusters with her Facebook page. “Like” her.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
It is on my tumblr where I post pictures of the “art” I find in the everyday, in fields as diverse as food, fashion, travel, lifestyle, and, of course, interior design. There are very few words apart from pertinent links for more information.
Not in the mood to pore over a lengthy article? Well now you know where to go to just look!
