LINKED IN NOW: Everlasting Flowers
Don’t miss the wonderful article in today’s WSJ Magazine about artist Vladimir Kanevsky, who has been quietly making stunning porcelain and tole flowers for more than 20 years over in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Yep, those berries and flowers above are man made.
The WSJ article discusses the artist’s method and inspiration and has a few great photos online. If you can, pick up the article at the newsstand for more imagery.
I searched the web for some additional images because I was so captivated by those found in the WSJ article.
Kanevsky’s work starts at $3000. One wealthy collector stated in the article that she prefers his flowers to jewels. I agree wholeheartedly with David Netto, the author of the WSJ article, that she is really getting both.
