Lights, Camera, Action
By Lynn Byrne. A big stand out at Holiday House 2011 was the lighting. There were several memorable chandeliers.
It is hard to beat a great trad crystal.
Love Remains Lighting’s interpretation in nickel of Tony Duquette’s Splashing Water Chandelier. (Whoop, whoop. I have my own Duquette chandi from Remains.)
Interesting ceiling medallion–looks like a sunburst mirror without the mirror.
I first saw something like this done by Bunny Williams in the 2010 Rooms with a View Showhouse.
The chandelier was my favorite part of this next room.
This last light is just plain cool.
After Holiday House, I’m inspired to decorate for the Holidays. It is all coming out this weekend–tree and everything. What are your plans?
