Announcing Rejuvenation Lighting’s “Make Your Home Your Own” Contest

I am pleased to announce Rejuvenation Lighting’s 2nd Annual “Make Your Home Your Own” Contest.  Visitors to Rejuvenation’s website are invited to share their personal inspiration for their homes and how it helped them to make their own homes unique.  Entrants can win up to $1000 in Rejuvenation products. It sounds like it is going to be lots of fun!!

The contest celebrates Rejuvenation’s belief that it is the crowning details of a room that give it life.  It is in this spirit that Rejuvenation handcrafts its lovely reproduction lighting and hardware.  I have covered Rejuvenation’s products and used photos from their catalog in Decor Arts Now before.  Click here and here to check out those posts.

To participate, you need only post photos to Rejuvenation’s website and describe how you’ve changed your room.  Submissions will be accepted between April 1-29.  On May 4, an online poll will open for 2 weeks and website guests can vote on their favorite room.  The winner will receive a $1000 gift certificate for Rejuvenation products.

In addition to the People’s Choice winner, another winner will be selected by a panel of seven industry experts.  I am honored to say that I am one of the seven judges, who include, among others, such luminaries as Janel Laban, managing editor of the power blog, Apartment Therapy, and Mary Ellen Polson, senior editor for Old-House Interiors magazine. The prize will be another $1000 gift certificate.

A third winner, who will receive a $500 gift certificate, will be chosen by Rejuvenation’s 170 employees.

The contest is an enjoyable and easy way to share ideas and inspiration for your homes.  The use of Rejuvenation’s products are not required for participation.   So take a few snapshots and post them.  It is that easy.  I can’t wait to see the entries.
